Today in Ronald Reagan History

29 years ago, President Reagan signed the Economic Recovery Tax Act of 1981 and the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1981. The bills cut taxes by $37.7 billion in 1982 and $280.3 billion the following three years.

Paul Tibbets American Hero


65 years ago today, Brig. Gen. Paul W. Tibbets, Jr. (then Col.) saved millions of American lives, and effectively ended WWII.


Well done, Gen. Tibbets.
